PRESIDENT MESSAGE [continued from front page]

There will be a member hands clinic on Sculpture/FibreKor® and Laminates as well as a LIDLA Study Group presentation on Implants and "How to Dates, location and time of each event will appear in The Articulator. You can also view The Articulator online - www.lidla.com On July 26th. I received very sad news. One of our longtime members, John T. Cunniffe, passed away. John was an extremely knowledgeable dental technician with expertise in Crown & Bridge, always paying special attention to esthetics. He was always willing to share his expertise with any technician who asked. He will be greatly missed and our condolences go to his lovely wife, Madeline, and family. The last item I would like to share with you is regarding Congress 2002. Please stop by the LIDLA Table and feel free to ask questions about LIDLA and offer your suggestions for its betterment. We continually strive to make LIDLA more useful and educationally outstanding. Looking forward to seeing you. Incidentally, the biggest handicap LIDLA has is the failure of its many members to contribute a little volunteer time to help us run the association and events. At the moment we ask for volunteers to give just a little time as members of the LIDLA Service Group which endeavors to determine what services the membership would like providing.

Sincerely,
Anthony Fescina, CDT,

In Memoriam

It is with deepest sadness that we report the death of long time active member John Cunniffe, A.A.S. July 25th. He enjoyed a long and distinguished professional life as owner-operator of Dental Lab until he retired for health reasons a year or so ago. During his time as active member of LIDLA he gave unsparingly of his time on board, events, and NTEC. His wife's name is Madeline, of
194 E. Farmingdale St, Islip Terrace NY 11752.

From Gordon & Shirley Hammer

"Carl Frucht, a retired member, has had a serious operation and can use all the prayers our members can give. For those who don't remember Carl he was one of our members who volunteered his time to LIDLA when he was owner of the Frucht Dental Lab in Massapequa. We will keep everyone abreast, on his progress".
