Heard in the L.I.R.R. - on Children

Heard in the L.I.R.R. - on Children

Children: You spend the first 2 years of life teaching them to walk and talk;
Then you spend the next 16 years telling them to shut-up and sit down!

Children are natural mimics who act like their parents despite every effort
to teach them good manners.

Children seldom misquote; In fact the often repeat word for word what you
should not have said.

Be nice to your kids; they'll chose your nursing home.

Highlights from the President's Report

"A full presentation on the LabNet Dental Lab System will be given on October
17, 2001, by Terri Heath, with ample time, for questions at presentation end.
Please make your reservations early.

Dr. Ron Castaldo, would like members to call him at 631-277-2566, with
questions on the Denturist program.

"The caller told me he was not aware of the valuable information contained in
the 2001-2002 LIDLA Membership Directory"

"Anyone who has maintained membership in LIDLA, will not be asked to leave
because of a change of address out of Long Island".

"LIDLA goals for 2001-2002 are to respond to the needs of its
members.....your support and input remain at the core of our association, and
its ability to serve you productively"

"Medical Insurance: Many Lab owners are interested in finding out what may be
available...You will find a brief questionnaire in the next issue of The
Articulator..."

Did you hear about the one successful lab owner or technician who didn't attend LIDLA's outstanding continuing education seminars? Didn't think so!

The laboratory industry is going through rapid changes. Systems are costly. Hear the facts before you invest your hard-earned money! Learn how to produce models, dies, and articulations that are fast and accurate, wax-ups in eight minutes, castings in
thirty minutes, and porcelain and indirect composites that are life-
like and simple to do.

With use of 35rrm slides, information is shared on proven techniques, systems and products that can successfully work in any size dental laboratory - small, medium or large! Questions are encouraged and welcomed from all
participants. All attendees - dental lab owners, managers, technicians, support staff and dental technology students - will benefit from the clinician's business knowledge on costs, profits and overall efficiency for a
