Dear Members:

I am delighted to welcome two new members to the Long Island Dental Laboratory Association. Fresh Pond Dental Lab and Excellent Dental Studio.

Your input is always very valuable, and enables us to know what programs you most want.. I am proud to announce that Patterson Dental Supply, Inc.will host a clinic on 'CEREC inLab'® on Wednesday, May 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. Clinician Joey Bryant will demonstrate this procedure.. Look inside this issue for the address. For this clinic R.S.V.P; space is limited . I would like to thank LIDLA service committee for arranging this presentation. As always, your presence is the key for this educational evening.

Coming events include new study groups on porcelain, implants, removables and an evening of your hands-on with sculpture Fibrekor. Watch for green postcard reminders in the mail.

A few weeks back we received some very upsetting news. Ary Brack, owner of Alron Dental Studio has passed away. Throughout the years, I've had the pleasure of attending many clinics with him. His wisdom and knowledge of dental technology was so far advanced that he would stump the clinicians.

Our condolences go out to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Sincerely,

Tony Fescina, CDT
