12 Ways to Kill an Organization |
1. Never go to Meetings,
2. But if you do, go late
3. If the time or date of the meeting does not suit you, don't go!
4. However, if you do go, find fault with the work of the officers.
5. Never accept an office; it's much easier to criticize than help with projects.
6. Get sore if you are not appointed as a committee chairman. If you are, don't attend any meetings or events.
7. If you are asked to give an opinion on some matter, tell the chairperson you have nothing to say. And after the meeting tell everyone how it should have been done.
8. Do nothing; never volunteer for any work. When others roll up their sleeves, and willingly and unselfishly use their abilities and time, to help matters along, say how the organization is being run by a clique.
9. Don't pay your dues when due, or don't pay them at all.
10. Make no effort to get new members.
11. If you have a good idea, keep it to yourself You may be able to use it.
12. Complain that you never receive any benefits as a member; if you do benefit, complain that you never got your moneys worth.
Thanks, Charles Gerbano

The Walrus Dentist
[I Aid the Walrus Goo Goo
G'joob] |
Walruses in the Moscow zoo have infected tusks [the Walrus teeth]. If untreated the condition could be lethal. In April, Dr. Peter
Kertesz, of London will head to Russia to help. He says "I am one of the few tusk dentists in the world - but I have worked with everything from aardvarks to elephants to gorilla's to zebras' Walruses are a "first", but the basic principles of tusk surgery will apply. Why are they sick? Walruses fracture their tusks on the concrete floors of cages." I will be removing both tusks of 12 Walruses. Its a complicated task because they are so big, but Walruses are very nice animals"
